Underground Vibes and Alternative Music Scenes in Strasbourg
In our last section, we brought you the most famous commercial clubs in Strasbourg. Amazing, isn’t it ?
But as you know, Strasbourg is close to Germany, very close.
This influenced us on the way we party.
Did you ever hear about German techno ? Well, let’s say that they got us hooked on that.
Strasbourg is one of the best techno city in France.
Multiples clubs are offering each a different and unique experience, mixing nicely the French and German influence on how we party.
Le Kalt is definitely the most famous techno club in Strasbourg. With its Berliner ambiance, it became the reference in terms of nightlife in Strasbourg.
If you want your night to be solely focused on Techno, then Le Kalt is the place to go.
Pay attention however, we advise you to be there before 1am, and to be properly dressed, bouncers are very picky and a casual outfit will not do (as opposed to the groove box or macdonalds for example, where you can come as you are)
No pictures are allowed inside the club.
→ Their instagram : https://www.instagram.com/kalt.club/
Le studio saglio. If we had to make a ranking, it would be the second most famous club of Strasbourg. With an important terrace outside to get out of the warmth on the dancefloor, it is closer to the french way of partying. The parties we find in Le Studio are closer to what is happening in Paris, with a bigger focus on the music instead of the ambiance. That is maybe why Le studio saglio often make very famous DJs come for a DJset, stay tuned, maybe one will happen during your stay in Strasbourg !
→ Their Instagram : https://www.instagram.com/lestudiosaglio/
Le molodoï : A different and quite unique concept in Strasbourg. Le molodoï is not managed by a company, but by an association that lend the club to other association within Strasbourg’s ecosystem. While the Molodoï is usually lended for techno parties, it often host more diverse options. Jazz, blues or classical music are not uncommon in this venue.
That is why we warmly recommend checking their Instagram before planning your evening there!
Thanks to this unusual management, the molodoï is an institution in Strasbourg, and the average age there is usually higher than the others nightlife spots of Strasbourg. Again, it depends on the association that organize the night !
